Chocolate Cherry Smoothie

Published on: 08/27/2022

Smoothies are one of my go-to items for breakfast. This chocolate cherry smoothie has been a regular in the smoothie rotation for quite some time. There are only 5 ingredients in this smoothie.

To make this smoothie you’ll need frozen cherries, a banana, some chia seeds, oat milk, and chocolate protein powder. If you don’t love oat milk, that’s totally fine because you could use almond milk or soy milk or any other milk that you prefer. You also don’t need to thaw the cherries at all; keep them frozen because they’ll help thicken up your smoothie.

This chocolate cherry smoothie is a great way to nourish your body for breakfast. It contains almost half of your fiber needs for the day. It’s a good source of vitamin A, vitamin C, and iron. The cherries provide some anti-inflammatory compounds. The cherries and the chia seeds are chock full of antioxidants.

Overall, if you like cherries, you’ll love this chocolate cherry smoothie.
