Chili Lime Tilapia Bowls

Published on: 09/24/2022

Burrito bowls, taco bowls, fajita bowls…there’s something magically satisfying about dinner (or lunch) in a savory bowl format. These chili lime tilapia bowls are no exception. There’s a little bit of sweetness with the chili lime seasoning.

To create these chili lime tilapia bowls, you’ll need an air fryer. You could also bake the fish but the air fryer cooks this all up quick quickly and creates a little bit of a crunchy crust on the fish.

For the chili lime seasoning, you’ll need…

  • Tajin seasoning
  • Salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Oregano
  • Paprika

To make the riced cauliflower, you’ll need…

  • Frozen riced cauliflower
  • Lime juice (fresh or bottled)
  • Cilantro

If you don’t love cilantro, skip it. It’s not absolutely necessary. The lime juice is absolutely necessary as it helps get rid of the bitterness in the cauliflower.

You can top your bowls with whatever topping you choose. My typical toppings are shredded lettuce, salsa, guacamole, and shredded cheese. For chili lime tilapia bowls, I would recommend more of a fruit salsa, such as a pineapple mango salsa.

This entire dinner can be on the table in well under 30 minutes!
