Here’s your reminder that if you need to use food right now to help you cope with and process your emotions right now, that’s okay. But don’t let it be your only way of coping.

Food can and does help with emotions. Emotional eating is human. If you have emotions, you will emotionally eat sometimes.

But…I don’t want food to be the only thing you go to right now. So here are some other ideas:
- Deep breathing
- Donate (abortionfunds.org)
- Exercise
- Journal
- Meditate
- Get involved (plannedparenthood.org, usow.org)

Eliminating foods unnecessarily can cause harm. It can lead to nutrient deficiencies. It can lead to a lack of diversity in your gut bacteria and you want diversity in your gut bacteria.
